How good is
your website?

What the scan checks

Five things that decide whether your website wins the customer

The free website audit reads your public homepage and scores it out of 100 across the five areas that actually affect whether a visitor stays, trusts you, and gets in touch.

  • Speed

How fast your site loads, especially on a phone. Around 40% of visitors leave a site that takes more than three seconds, so speed is a quiet tax on every slow page.

  • Mobile

Whether your site works properly on the small screen where most local searches happen: readable text, tappable buttons, and a layout that does not break.

  • SEO

The on-page basics Google looks for: title, description, headings, structured data and a page it can crawl and index. The groundwork for being found.

  • Security

HTTPS, a valid certificate and safe headers. A site flagged “Not secure” loses a visitor's trust before they read a single word.

  • Trust & conversion

Whether the page gives a visitor a reason to act: clear contact details, a phone number, reviews and an obvious next step.

Why your score matters

Your website is judged in under a second

Most visitors decide whether to trust a business from its website almost instantly, and a slow or dated site quietly sends them to a competitor. A quick check tells you where you stand and what to fix first.

  • 50msis all it takes for a visitor to form a first impression of your website.
  • 75%of people judge a business's credibility on its website design (Stanford Web Credibility research).

Questions

Free website audit, answered

How do I check if my website is any good?

Enter your address in the scanner above. It reads your public homepage and gives you a straight score out of 100 across speed, mobile-friendliness, SEO, security and how well the page wins customers, in about ten seconds. You see your score and the top findings free, with no sign-up.

Is the website scanner really free?

Yes. The score and the top findings are free, with no account and no card. If you want the full report with a plain-English fix for every issue, you leave your name and email and I send it over, no charge and no obligation.

What is a good website score out of 100?

As a rough guide, 80 and above is strong, 60 to 79 has clear room to improve, and below 60 usually means something is costing you customers, most often speed on mobile or missing SEO basics. The full report explains exactly which.

Is it safe to scan my site, and do you change anything?

It is completely safe. The scanner only reads your public homepage, the same page anyone can visit, and never logs in, changes or stores your site. It cannot touch anything private.

How is this different from Google PageSpeed and other tools?

PageSpeed tells you about speed alone. This gives you one plain score across speed, mobile, SEO, security and conversions together, written for a business owner rather than a developer, plus a real person who will tell you how to fix what it finds.

What if my website score is low?

That is the useful part. Ask for the full report and you get a clear fix for each issue, and I will tell you honestly whether it is a few tweaks or a rebuild. Fixed-price websites start at £199 if you decide to sort it properly. See what a website costs.
